Choicest Meal Co., (CEO Hyeon-jun Chi) announced that it achieved visible results by participating in the ‘2023 New York K-FOOD FAIR’ export consultation held in New York, USA on the 29th and 30th of last month.
Choicest Meal Co., a company that manufactures sauces and low-sugar, low-salt sauces, introduced the premium low-sugar sauce brand ‘Thankyou Gochujang’ and four types of ‘GrandMa’s sauce’ for export at this export conference.
‘Thankyou Gochujang’, introduced this time, is a low-sugar, low-carbohydrate product that does not use sugar or starch syrup, which are used to add sweetness and umami to regular red pepper paste, but adds alternative sugar allulose. It is also a product that serves as a leader in Special Taste Co., Ltd.'s ability to target the American market, which has a high understanding of various sauces such as low-calorie, vegan, and KETO.
In addition, 'GrandMa's Sauce' is a product that comes in a total of 4 types: Bibimjang, Tteokbokki Sauce, Ssamjang, and Miso Soybean Paste. As the name suggests, it is based on the recipe of CEO Hyeon-jun Chi, CEO of Choicest Meal Co., which was founded in 1965 and has been passed down for three generations. It is characterized by one point. It was launched with overseas markets, including Amazon, in mind with its simple container and design.
According to the company, at this ‘2023 New York K-FOOD FAIR’ conference, an MOU was signed with Lotte Mart chile, which highly evaluated the marketability of Special Taste Co., Ltd., and the first export contract for ‘Grandma Sauce’ was signed in October. In addition, a supply contract for ‘Thankyou Gochujang’ was signed with Canada’s Sandol Enterprise Ltd.
